I’ve been passionate about health and fitness ever since I can remember, so when the opportunity to become a personal trainer came along I grabbed it with both hands.
A keen athlete and half decent footballer in my teens I was contemplating studying sports science when a pal steered me towards the heady world of marketing instead.
25 years later, having worked in some of London's most respected advertising agencies I finally followed my heart and signed up for the YMCA's level 3 personal trainer course.
All those years spent writing TV commercials and designing posters haven’t been wasted. My work in the past was all about engaging with the public; putting messages across clearly and succinctly in a friendly, authoritative voice.
Which in a nutshell, is what good personal training is all about.
